This LEED Silver ranch house is oriented toward the southeast, not only to take in the surrounding views, but also to minimize solar heat gain and capture the abundant breezes from that direction. The design features reclaimed interior siding, passive ventilation, zero-potable water use for irrigation, and HERS rating of 54.
